Found out it also triggered the MAF error code at speed. Think it confirms its the MAF?

Can anyone confirm whether the TIS update relates to the x18xe or x18xe1 pls. ( The update relating to the earth fault on the MAF)

there is also remedy E001074 which talks of airleaks around the maf, or bad connections, clean em up and cable tie the connector on.

thanks to you all who have helped here.  I think we have diagnosed a MAF failure so going to try that.

the other thing that bemuses me is that there is pressure in the cam cover area:  I though that should be under vacuum not under pressure. odd given breathers are clear
