Without question mate, you know a lot about fixing cars. But I used to buy and sell for a living and can assure you there is money in that car.

As a bet, I'll buy it and flog it. If I make less than £400 profit on it, I'll give you £500. If I make more, you give me £500. Deal?

I still say its a shed with risk written all over it and you would be better served else where......

the 178k miles is the main reason i wouldn't touch it with a barge pole.

My Wifes 2.5 CDX auto estate has 160k on the clock and drives like new. The mileage is irrelevant as long as the car is maintained and runs well. I sold a Toiurer last year with 188k on, which went off to Spain towing a 24ft caravan. I also sold a 2000 W reg facelift with 229k on the clock.

I agree that this X-reg is a shed. but a cheap one and is worth at least that in bits.
