Well after having a tantrum I had a few Stellas so relaxed....
The following day a small amount of oil was yet again on the top of the sump
Decided to remove the cambelt cover to see a sheen of oil on the cambelt backing plate..... hmmmmm.... so put it all back together then took Obi for a warm up lap of the A500
Got back stripped again to see a little stream of oil running from the drivers side Cam Seal " I found you, I found you!! ) although it is reckoned that they dont leak
A trip to Vauxhall for Four Cam Seals a couple of hours later all fitted
So and Day and a bit later Obi is not wetting

I was so sure you would want me to wake you to let you know what was wrong with Obi mate

Hmm I think there was two separate leaks as when I had done the sump and its casting the amount of oil on the top of the sump was less

Yep, had that problem both my current 3.2 and my first one, still, it's easy to fix if you happen to be doing the cam covers at the same time!

Daz had to stop wearing those after the unfortunate incident when the S fell off his and he was hounded out of the Boslem swimming hole by a baying mob of local troglodytes.
