one 52 plate mv6 getting broken if

It leaks oil from that sump casting join with the block again . . . .
 
Vauxhall supplied me with gasket and sealer which i fitted. . Vauxhall never told me about the update which i read the other night on here  >:(

Hate having to do jobs twice, so i have just finished it again this time thtew the gasket as far as i could, then filled it with sealer. . So lets see. .  If it leaks the way i am feeling at the minute i will be breaking Obi  :(

More annoying is doing a job then having to do it again.. more so when I think Vauxhall should have read there update on TIS >:(

Anyway at least it wont fall for it again :(

Just hope the leak does not appear tomorrow :-?

Had the same problem on my old facelift. Didnt even attempt to fix it just sold it as it was, and told the buyer about the problem.
Was it as bad a job as it looks Daz ? :-/

The old girls off this week youth and were supposed to go away but if the weathers not good we won't be going. If she goes to see the Grandkids (she's always there)i'll nip over and give you a hand  :y

Well after having a tantrum I had a few Stellas so relaxed....
The following day a small amount of oil was yet again on the top of the sump >:( >:( >:(
Decided to remove the cambelt cover to see a sheen of oil on the cambelt backing plate..... hmmmmm.... so put it all back together then took Obi for a warm up lap of the A500 ;D
Got back stripped again to see a little stream of oil running from the drivers side Cam Seal " I found you, I found you!! ;D ;D) although it is reckoned that they dont leak :o
A trip to Vauxhall for Four Cam Seals a couple of hours later all fitted :y
So and Day and a bit later Obi is not wetting  ;D

Obi Lives Another Day :D
