Just being honest. Been a motorsport fan ( way past obsessive in my yoof) since the mid 70,s, but 24 hour races never held any interest for me at all.

I bet there aren't many that sit and watch the whole 24 hours. I watched the start, finish and had a couple of hours an Mulsanne corner in the night. There loads more stuff going on for the whole 24 hours

I'm here. Currently wondering whether to do the "Classic" Le Mans next year (It's only every 2 years), the "modern" Le Mans, or both. :-/

Most seem to sit drinking for 12 hours and then assume the foetal position in a sleeping bag and lay there in a quivering heap gathering dust for most of the night.
