From the sounds of that, putting more money after bad may not be the right thing in this case.

Could be worth putting down to experiece, and braking / scraping to try and recoupe a little of the cost, and put it towards a better one.

Welcome to the forum. 'fraid if you dont want to buy something, then you dont have to... but we all make mistakes, hope all turns out well.

A bit of useful advice...you do know that if you have no handbrake you dont need to use adjacent honda coupes as a wheel chock....simply pop it in gear, and that'll hold her on any slope.
