Ive got one on the drive that got a wheel nut thats to tight and its furbard the key  :(

:( How do you plan to get the wheel off then?

I can't afford the cost of a new set of alloys and tyres on top of mechanics time to grind the alloys off.  :(

Try tightening the other nuts on the wheel up real tight - then try to undo the locking one.  Had to use a big hammer on one of mine but it shifted ok.  Put copperslip on bolt chamfers - no probs since, easy to undo.

Hope this helps

If the locking bolts are like the original fit from Vauxhall ie they have 3 holes in a triangular(ish) pattern, then the spinning collar is only thin & can easily be cut off using a slim chisel. Been there done that! ;) The new locking bolts from Vauxhall are different and are the 'cake cutter' type now.

Ooops!  ;)
It could be worse ... you could be on the hard shoulder, in the piddling rain at night with a puncture trying to remove the wheel!  :y
