this might be a long shot but has anybody on her got a step by step guide to removal and fiiting a gearbox?

Now has two miggs in our house hold. Both 2.0ltr 16v lpg'd. a MFL and a FL.

From memory:

Undo prop at gearbox end.
Disconnect oil cooler rubber pipes, and bung to stop leaks.
Remove rubber gromet, and undo 6 (if petrol) TC bolts.
Remove split pin and disconnect gearstick linkage
Use a jack to support box, and undo rear mounting bracket.
Lower slightly and undo all 4 electrical connectors (on on top of box above output shaft).
Undo all the bellhousing bolts and probably remove starter?
Pull box back and lower.

Refit is similar, but make sure the TC is fully in box before attempting to fit.

good point, didn't have to do that on tractor...
