Iam completely confused, i have a omega 2.6 v6 auto lpg, its one of the best cars ive ever driven no issues for the first 5000 miles,i decided to get the cam belt done after finding out in this forum that it needs doing every 40k. when it went in for the cam belt the car was brilliant. the moment the belt was done and i went to pick the car up, it was idling rough and there was some misfiring at idle. i asked the mechanic to pull the covers off. pulled the covers off and saw the timing was out by a touch. he put that right and the car is still the same misfiring at low revs and shaking. he told me to change the plugs which i did, checked for oil in the wells, all clear, he said he checked the coils on cyclinder 1 3 5 and said it had oil in them and he replaced them but iam not sure whether he did. anyway the problem still exists. iam not driving the car for fear of blowing it up. the next thing he told me was to get the gas re-calibrated since he pulled the pipes off to do the belt, but i know thats a load of bullshit since ive been driving gas cars for 4 years and i know u only need re-calibration if the battery is disconnected for a while. PLus the car is acting the same on petrol and oh yea the engine management light is on. iam throughly gutted since i spent about 140 quid on vx parts and then this mechanics labour and the car is ruined. it idles rough and generally clears at high revs. but if i leave it idling for more than 5 mins then it misfires though all the revs. it drives terrible.. i heard from a few other people that the valves could have been belt and a mechanic says thats not the case since these are hydraulic or some thing like that. i dont know what iam supposed to do and iam completely confused. please help!
P.s Sorry for the long message..
