Treatment will have an effect, but as said at newent, there can't be an omega left on the road with rear bushes in at least some state of disrepair.

My 03 52plate bushes failed the mot, and where not as bad as some similar aged cars I've seen... Hotel21's car has less miles than mine, and although not as bad, still needed changing.

Most obvious symptom is poor handling rear end.

I did mine on ramps. I had trouble getting bolt to line up. In the end i found that if you put hand brake on and grab wheel with one hand and rock car back and forth the sub frame moves . This was enough for me to get bolt in with my other hand.Hope this helps.

sorry i got that wrong. I took hand brake off so i could rock the car and moved front wheel chock a small amount to allow me to do it.
