When I was working I got to listen to more than a few people who where able to use the language in that way (one of the few advantages) and must say that it was a treat - it almost made it worthwhile (although, if truth be told, it was a worthwhile job).

We have a great language and it never ceases to astound me how it can be made to say (or not in many cases) almost anything in a way that isn't immediately ovbious - just like Mike's follow-up comments.
