I've been lucky enough to be introduced to the Queen, there  is something special about this lady a presence that you can't really describe.
Yes I'm a Royalist, and if you want president Blair SHAME ON YOU. ;D

I not much of a royalist, but I do recognize the stability of having a monarch with very few powers has brought to this country and also the tourist revenue and her royal visits to other countries does build a lot of bridges and help our exports.  :y

I think what has put many people off are her children and who they married.  >:(

Well the Queens visiting our town on friday, what a waste of money, rumour has it at £2.9 million.Never saw so many police and wanabe police in one town at any one time.
Council working weekends, planting flowers shrubs and screening unsitely views. All this just because of one Royal visit, anyone parked on the roadway will be towed, parking spaces will be reserved for VIPS etc, friday market traders are vetted, bomb squad have sealed all manholes and drains etc etc,What a bloodly waste of money, and guess who has to pay for it.

we do need a monarchy just for stability of this country..what we don't need is all the hangers on's that we have too pay for...like for example edward, andrew who serve no usefull purpose at all apart from being a idiot(that was not the word i used) :y

News of these auspicious occasions were generally greeted with the comments of 'Aah for opps's sake', made by the membership of the unfortunate CPU chosen to do the inner cordon. ;D ;D ;D
