bloody sky its gone again heavy rain screen gone blank that is after i told sky about it they said they fixed it well they haven't >:( >:( >:(

Have you tried a 3 pin restart? Pull the mains plug wait a minute and then plug back in. Then switch box back on with handset.

It might otherwise be your LNB connection needs remaking.
what do you know in spain they cant get there money right  :y :y

had sky out to fix mine came when it was rain and the fault the same as yours, changed lnb, no change move dish no change, the took the dish off and put a new one on, no change. moved dish to another part on wall, no change, checked out +box nothing wrong with it, 6hr he was her for and only thing he could find is my alinment is in line with the mobile gsm tower and it must be that. so now have a big dish and it works fine.

I was told if the tree outside in front of the house got any bigger we would start losing signals so was advised to re-position it but we never , 7 yrs later the tree is a lot bigger but no loss of signal  :-\

Highly possible, different weather and atmosphere conditions can affect the propagation of different RF making it affect your dish during rain.  Kevin Wood will know more about this than I do but it certainly seems plausible.
