I wouldn't touch a 4 cylinder diesel Omega with a barge pole.

If you MUST have one that runs on the devils fuel, go for a 2.5TD with a straight 6. Different league.

I know many will disagree with me. The 2.2DTi is fine in a vectra/astra etc etc... but it's just "not enough" for a car like the Omega..

I'll have to disagree with you. I've owned both for a long time and in there standard form there's not much between them. The 2.5 is more tuneable but I would only do that if its a manual box.

Twiglet bought a diesel Elite on Weds.and I believe Elite Pete has a few of them. ;)

Thats that one solved then  ;D :y

I've got 2 GLS's and a CDX but they did do an Elite version

The main reason I wouldn't buy a 4 pot oil burner is that they don't come in Auto flavour. I just don't like the omega manual box ;)

ive been tempted by an lpg conversion but im not that capable with the tools to do such a large job!
Hence the thinking behind a diesel  :o..Love the mv6 especially in the manual form we have,just dont honestly
know if i can justify the running costs of it anymore  :(Its the first car we have oqned in a long time that actually puts a big smile on my face why driven..love it
anyone have any suggestions lol?
