I wouldn't touch a 4 cylinder diesel Omega with a barge pole.

If you MUST have one that runs on the devils fuel, go for a 2.5TD with a straight 6. Different league.

I know many will disagree with me. The 2.2DTi is fine in a vectra/astra etc etc... but it's just "not enough" for a car like the Omega..

If you're capable of DIY work you could LPG your current car for much less than the BIN on that ;) And then have DTi economy with V6 performance and fun :D

Believe me, if I can do a conversion (with help off here) and get it working pretty well then .................
The kits we get put together has pretty much everything in it that you will need.
Its not as had as you may think  ;) ;)

And just think, V6 performance with 67 pence a ltr fuel bills  :y :y

The biggest challenge is getting telio to answer his ****ing phone   ;D ;D

Lower then that bud  ;)

My full system including the false floor for the boot (i've got a estate) including a donut tank came to less then 800 quid.
I believe we can get the kit together a fair bit cheeper now  :)

Forgot about that bit  ::) :-[

With lpg at about half the price of petrol, it a no-brainer imo and just to round it off i'm getting 22 mpg with most of that round town with a boot full of tools  :)

Even with the low amount of miles i've been doing in the past year, I recon my system will pay for itself by about christmas (18 months)  :)

Saving is, as has been proven by several of us, about 10p per mile so I suggest that 10k miles will more than cover the payback (allowing for petrol usage when running out of LPG and starting) :y :y

My saloon did 55k on LPG before I sold it so by man maths, I saved £4500 on running costs after paying for the kit ;)

My estate has done about 19k since conversion so it is already paid for and saving me money :y
