all done. Bought a 'visibleed' kit for five quid from halfords. Pads came out with bit of persuasion. Oddly new pads didnt want to go in even after caliper piston moved back. However was just a bit of Shit built up. Filed that away and brake cleaned job done. That copper anti seize gets everywhere though lol

ps just a quick note about the bleed kit. . It has a one way valve on the end so no need to submerged the end in fluid. Very handy :-)
