3/16" or 5mm will be OK.
Won't a fish tank shop sell  the fancy expensive silicon tubing?  :-\ A proper motorfactors will sell plastic tubing cheaper.  :y :y

(assuming you've still got one  :-\)

Trouble is, there aren't many left these days, the likes of Halfords have killed a lot of them. The bloke in your Motorfactors will be able to advise anyway ...... without needing to know age/make/colour/engine size/etc of your car  ;) ;)

Indeed, last time I went to an ECP looking for hose off the reel I was curtly told they don't sell anything without a registration number or VIN and a part number..

Either buy brake fluid resistant tubing or by plenty as brake fluid kills most plastics and rubbers

I got stuck once, I routed thru swmbo kitchen stuff.
I found a dinky little funnel, cut the stem off to the dia . of some fuel pipe.
bit of garden wire here & there & hey presto .........spent the rest of afternoon in casualty.
brake fluid stings a bit, but the eye settled down after a while, ears were ringing a bit too. :P
