just a thought chris will you be able to type better on it :D
I cery mich doubt it! ::) :D

Although, its much lighter than the 4. And the wider screen helps in safari in landscape mode, with toolbars disappearing with just a little transparent back button in one corner, and an expand button in the other to bring the tool bars back.

So at least I can see that I can't type, but that's fine, as it pisses AndyP and Esta off no end. :y
[/highlight]yes i know what you mean :D :D :D :D

Shackeng - email client allows me to read and send emails (and other "personal information manager" tasks

So what your saying is, its syncs with outlook, where non of the others do...?
No
FFS, so what is better about iOS over the others? Christ it's like getting blood out if a rather stone this. ;D
As I keep saying, it works. An email client isn't complex. Google want to tie you to gmail, and 3rd party ones are even more limited. Gooseberry traditionally relied on additional, proprietry subscriptions, and you'd have to be bonkers to buy into gooseberry 10. MS have manage to squeeze out failure from the jaws of victory. Leaving crApple, who have managed to design something usable.

For the record, Nokia have never managed to do email properly on any of their smartphones

I'm sure I had three accounts on an n95. But then I can barely remember what happened yesterday. :-\

Certainly N97 IMAP implementation was cumbersome. Had no other options beyond IMAP for shared access

Imap and pop3, defo on n95. I remember buggering about with settings for those.

Smtp rings a bell. But I don't actually know what that is...?

Yeah, that's all it can manage. POP3 doesn't really work if you need mail on multiple devices. IMAP works better, but many implementations are clunky/cumbersome and ultimately often unreliable
