Yes, wall and flat surface, bit of tape....takes about 5 mins to do

Height is not of use due to the many variations in suspension height etc  :y

OK, what reference on the car? I'm used to having a machine to use when I want to align headlamps ;D

Isn't the 'drop gradient' printed on the light casing? So you nose the car up to the wall, mark the light, move the car back a known distance (e.g. 2 metres) then calculate how far the beam should have dropped in that space (2m @ 1.5% = 3cm) and move the light until the same spot you used as the reference earlier is that many cm lower than before?

Ok, so after calculating that it seems you might want to go back more than 2m to make it clearer, but you get the gist..

Sod it... I don't really have the required surfaces so I'll pop into my tame MOT place next time I'm passing and ask nicely... I'm sure he'll let me pop it onto the machine if the MOT bay is empty ::)

Mind you... I'm sure my MOT is due soon :-\ ::)

Same reason I haven't checked any of mine - I don't have a long enough piece of flat ground with a nice wall/garage door at the end of it..
