Given the amount if slop available with subframe positions, I would NOT give too much attention to wheel position. Unless its obvious. In which case, well, it will be obvious. ;)

if you dont compare both sides by measurement you will see nothing..

Thanks for all the input guys. Engine has a cover on it that is screwed in with 4 bolts. And it has 4 coil per plugs....

is it reasonable to ask to unscrew cover and remove these (bolted down also) to check for oil in't plugs?  :y

Unless perhaps if there were signs of smoke or strong smell of burning oil, may then be worth a look..... :y

Before you leave to look at the car look up the address on google earth. If the place looks like Beirut after another slanging match for the love of God don't go. can't you just pull the plug lead out without undoing any bolts?  You can on my f/l V6 and my previous 98 V6.  Oil will be obvious on the lead end.
