I had 325 some 10 years back (e36m50) made only about 15.000 miles with it but the sweatest miles I ever had....that straight six just have THE sound, I couldn't drive it under 4.000 rpm ;D Got 20 mpg average or less....should have that engine under the bonnet now instead of 4pot  :P

Ok , i have a couple 328 in my watch list . Just testing the water to see how much they go for  :)

yeah.. 328 will be worth the cost..  :y

imo buy a manual ..

Most getting a little rust around back arches but just need tidying . Reports of auto engine/gearbox bullet proof  :-\

I wouldn't rule out a 2.5TD on price, there really good on mpg and have plenty of torque, more power than the same Mig 2.5TD's depite being the same block. Either way Petrol or Diesel try and get the SE pack. ;)

Been running a 318i touring for a couple of months now, water pump had disintegrated so I got it free. Other than a general tidy up the only thing was a rear wheel bearing which was an absolute nightmare, took the trailing arm off in the end and took it to a shop and it took all of a 150 ton press to shift it.

It's not that powerful, but after a 3.0 v6 what will be??
