Without sweptback wings, it is not going supersonic me thinks.

The Delta layout has long since been proven as the way to do supersonic, whether that be with a fixed shape (Concorde, SR71, F15/16, Eurofighter) or swept/vaiable wings (Tornado, F14, F111). The variable wings offering far greater low speed control

F16 and later generations, use leading edge and tailing strakes that change the profile of the wings, depending upon speed and AOA which is a better solution than swing wings. This was possible where it is fly-by-wire with the flight control computers controlling the aircraft's stability.
