Beyond a reasonable doubt is what is required to get a not guilty verdict

I do not agree with every not guilty verdict but that is the standard of proof we are tried to.

I know a lot of faith is placed in 'tried by a jury of your peers' and sometimes they can get it wrong

It is not beyond the realms of possibility that all the accusers were lying or indeed that not enough evidence was provided to prove guilt

I wonder what he would have got up here?

Not proven is a bad verdict (liked by some) as it is interpreted as you done it but we can't prove it

Again if the evidence was strong enough then a guilty verdict should be given, I personally do not like the not proven verdict
