Parking by touch is my speciality. Further investigation is obviously required. Thanks for your comments.

Ah gotcha :y the reason for asking, is that factory installs are always in the same place, aftermarket ones could br anywhere ::)

The gubbins lives in the boot, just above the nearside wheel arch :y
Speaker cable runs up the C pillar and the speaker sits on the headlining about six inches back from the rear left hand corner of the sunroof :y

Have a rummage through the Electrical Help section, someone had the same problem just before Christmas... Shackeng or Entwood iirc :y

As Chris says, working parking sensors will have a faint ticking sound coming from them when they are activated. Activate the sensors, and listen to each in turn...whichever one is silent is the dead one.

remove the test resistor fromm the small plug by the rear left light cluster .. looks like a stanadrd fuse but has a resistor instead. Then select ignition on/reverse .. the system is now in self test mode and the bleeps will tell you which sensor has failed .. :)

Sorry ::)

Got muddled by...
Mine are currently silent when reversing!

 >:(
Jasons issue is a duff sensor, test as per Chris or Entwoods method :y

Lagondanets issue is either a duff speaker or knackered control box/wiring :y
