I'm thinking if I buy a new one & go through em one by one till I get to the fubared one will it solve it? or will the code still be displayed till the diagnostic resets it???

Only buy one and swap out one. If it doesn't solve it try the next one etc, etc...

Can't see there being eight completely different parking sensors on the car ::)

On the superlative Omega ... there is a "fuse" like item in the wiring that when unplugged places the system into self-test mode, this then tells you exactly which sensors work and which ones have faults ... not bad for a 15 year old system ...  :) .. perhaps your newer automobile has a similar device ??  :)

If not, almost all working reversing sensors tic when touched lightly.

No ticyo, no workyo.

Personally I wonder if it would be wired to the drivers door tweeter. Possibly at the Bose amp?

Assuming Bose reads the signal?
