Public health is exellent at covering up such issues... used to be to stop panic... now its to stop law suits.

MANY MANY bad diseases... The flu can cause miscariage, suicide, and acute onset AF leading to MI.

The more you know the more paranoid you become  :-X

The parva virus is quite naughty, it remains active in your system for quite a while until it matures at which point you become immune! My friend miscarried at 14 weeks and now has to wait for the virus to mature before trying again!
There are so many symptoms other than the rash, we had really painful feet, severe headaches which didnt respond to drugs, the rash was the end of it! :(

:o Well......one lives and learns, Hoody-Count ;)

I have lived through 5 nephews and have never heard of "Slapped Cheek Disease!"  :-/

;D `Though when I was a kiddie my mother always used to comment that I oft`would have a "face like a slapped arse" whenever I was miserably-ill. ;D

Face like a smacked arse was usually after being out in the sun too long.
