mine are small cameras
you wont know they are there till you look properly
they glow red at night which is the infa red lights so the cameras work at night

same..  I place them in a visible place and tell everybody.. ;D

so they stay away now..

dont know what to do if I catch somebody though..

giving records to the police is another story :-/

police will ony except the video footage of there time and date stamped
so be carefull when editing security footage

im not sure but i think you are meant to put a sign in a window or on the wall stating that there is 24/7 security cameras fitted

not a problem here..

Dont get me started on car vandals after what Ive had to pay out over the past month! >:(-as for cameras, the crime prevention officer was all for it, said if mounted in a certain place we'd be able to cover the whole street. Have a sneeking suspicion that this recommendation may have something to do with the drug dealing by the bloke up the road tho!!!

Parked my recovery truck outside the house last night and folded the mirrors in so they wouldn't get hit by other motors passing. Goes out this morning and what's happened, some bastard has pulled the mirror out on the pavement side and smashed it to bits. Even left a dent in the wing where it hit so hard. Fortunatly the omega which wa parked in front was left unscathed but the point is that nobody these days has any respect for other peoples property. Phoned the law to make them aware but was just told it was probaly a drunk and the chance of cathing them was very slim. Told the boss which pissed him off just pleased that he didn't blame me for it. I offered to go halves for a new one but he said it was fine and he would sort it out what a nice man

tell them the car next door has no rd tax, they will soon take notice  ;)

I had phoned plod to report my shattered rear window, just to get an incident No. for insurance claim. Fair play, they had a car with me within 5 mins, and went knocking on every door in the street asking if anyone had seen or heard anything.
Had the same response when someone side swiped my parked car. They were with me within a few minutes, again knocked on every door and even offered to take paint samples off my car as I suspected it was one of the poles, renting a house a few doors up, who had a bronze A4 with the same colour paint as left on my car. Didn't take their offer as I could see the damaged would t/cut out and the only other damage was a cracked mirror lens that I sourced a replacement for from my mated breakers yard.
The pole was a nice enough chap on the odd occasion that I'd park up when he was outside previous to the incident, but after that incident I'd just sit and watch him. When he noticed I was watching him he'd go inside.
He's moved now ::)
