I've just accidentally uninstalled antivirus across all machines on a network, and the bloody thing won't reinstall at the moment

If Sophos, you did not un-install it via the Enterprise console did you?

Not Sophos.  I go a bit click happy in the Windows GPO snapin.  Now I can't get the sod to redeploy  .
