paid for by the convicts?? dont make me laugh,its my taxes that pay for their "luxuries" half of them wouldnt know an honest days work for an honest days pay if it smacked them between the eyes .its a handout from mine an many other law abiding citizens pockets, NOT a WAGE !!
The prisons are overcrowded by almost 50%, and if it went off then there is no way the screws would stand a chance.
There would no doubt be multiple injuries/deaths (both cons & staff alike) during the resultant riot that wouldn't take long to start if you take the television away, and the cost of repairs when it's all over (as well as the cost during) is going to send your tax bill even higher.
What do you think we should do once that happens?
Send the prisoners to Afghanistan
there are prisoners who will never be let back into society , end their waste of our resourses , bring back the death penalty, theres a load of our case. murderers , rapists etc , hang them , clear the system of scum, = more space for lower risk prisoners.hence half the problem solved.its about time this country got off its a**e and took back law and order ! govt and " human rights " are too far too soft !!!
the law should be : if you commit a crime you forfeit your human rights , not... oh dear , we will make the law abiding person the victim and protect you , you poor criminal,
