she's grown apart from me on the relationship side of things, the truth is, we do both really love each other but the way she feels about me isnt the right kind of love anymore, we're best friends, even now, and we're gonna continue living together for as long as we possibly and realistically can

even through the realisation that we cant be a couple anymore, there's been no bad feelings, no hate, no resentment, and most importantly no lies

the house is in both our names, and its a big house for what we paid (too big for us, and way too big for just one of us!!) and at the moment neither of us has anywhere else to go yet!!

i'm not hoping for anything but there's always the possibility this seperation may open our eyes, or not, but we're prepared for it now.

it weren't easy telling my mum tho!

That does happen - both of you work at it.

after a few days of peace, i'll start begging i think, and although some may say dont, i know she's worth it

we've been in seperate rooms for 4 nights now and to be honest it's been hell, i've given all i can possibly give now to try to save what we had and i seriously think she's made up her mind

gonna finish decorating over the next few weeks, and get it on the market because to be honest, if i cant live here with her i dont want to at all, my mum's happy to let me move back in and i can really save some money for the future

Sounds like moving back home might be a sensible option though, especially with the price you paid for your house (might even manage a profit?), so you can get some money saved up again.

if she's been completely honest i'm really optimistic we'll continue to be friends, but i've come to the conclusion in the early hours of this morning that we need to get out of this house regardless and have quality time apart

the house is a big 3 bedroom (all double) end terrace with a massive kitchen with breakfast room, a large living room and a little dining room, just had a brand new 4 piece bathroom as thats also huge, and alot of other work done since we moved in 2 years ago, its on a main road with a huge private driveway (5-6 cars worth) that has no passing traffic from cars or pedestrians and its in a pretty good area (so far)

got it for £67.5k 2 years ago when the market was excellent for buyers, i'm hoping it can sell for £110k, and we owe £58k on the mortgage

i think when i do get it on the market, i may even put a listing on ebay

Christ ! a one bed flat is over £100,000 here, and in a not very nice area of London a one bed flat is around £250,000

house prices are considerably lower here anywa, but it was definately a bargain, i dont think we've put more than £8000 into getting it where it is, and i dont think it'll take more than £1000 to finish off, we've done most of the hard work so a potential new owner wont have to, apart from decorating!

may have to sell it almost fully furnished too!

if i'd been able to predict how much money i'd have saved by staying at home all along, i could have bought it mortgage free by now!
