99% of royal mail staff are honest. Just recently i know 4 postmen have been sacked for theft. 1 or 2 have court appearances shortly. This is a result of customer complaints. So they are taken seriously and actioned. Unlike other large organisations. Before making ambiguous statements please think about this. I have to deal with complaint int the unit I work in. Most of the time when the facts come out it is usually the sender at fault. recorded delivery take no longer than the 1st or 2nd class service paid for. It is not secure it is just for proof of delivery as per service details. If something is of value or money is sent use special delivery.
On the subject of cost what other service can you get for 41p. Try one of the competitors or a courier. One quote for a next day letter delivery non secure was £15.
