Im interested to read this post as my drivers airbag requires attention.The airbag light is on and the steering wheel feels somewhat soft and spongy when pressed in the middle.

They are all pretty soft, and can feel like there is nothing in there, believe me IT IS! Let us know where you are, there could be someone living around the corner from you who can help. ::)

Its possible these faults are resolved.  Needs a decent code reader to reset.  Ideally one with live data functions in case there is still an issue.
