It should be the same as they use the same seering wheel, he only thing to look for is if its for the stereo control steering wheel or for the one without.

which kind is yours? with or without stereo controls? I have a spare airbag for one that has the controls, Im not sure what the deal is with postage of these tho, I think its not allowed for safety reasons.

if your airbag light isnt on, you will need to disconnect your battery for at least 10 mins before you change the airbag or the light will come on.  :y

since the light is on already, simply changing the airbag alone will not put it out, you need to get a tech 2 to reset the airbag ecu, assuming nothing else is wrong, if the internals of your existing bag are missing then it would seem it has been in an accident at some point,

disconnect the battery for 10 mins and change the bag regardless.

then let us know where about you are so someone with a tech 2 can help you.

cheers

Not sure if any of our East Anglian members have the equipment to check why the light is on.  My brother in Newmarket has some diags kit, but is having trouble with it at the moment.

Didn't understand you saying the airbag feels like it's missing, if it was, you would know. I put a Vectra airbag on my 96 CDX V6 so it does fit, and the wiring is the same. Did you have the light on from when you bought the car? If that was why you changed airbags, it looks like something else.  ::)

i tryed fitting the air bag from the vectra it fits only thing is the horn buttons are slghtly recessed on thet one so it holds the horn buttond down all the time . i'm thinking it is something else as the horn is not working and looking at the old air bag once i had removed it shows that the unit is all in tact
