from there website

Check the individual parcel weight and dimensions are within the maximum weight and dimensions we accept by visiting our delivery speeds and country information pages. For the UK these are: weight - there is no limit to the weight of a multi-parcel consignment but individual parcels must not exceed 30kg; length and girth - the size of each parcel must not exceed 3 metres length and girth (measured around its thickest part) combined and 1.5 metres for the greatest dimension. Girth should be calculated as twice the height of theparcel plus twice the width of the Parcel measured around its thickest part.
Make sure your parcel is packaged correctly.  Help on packaging can be found on our packaging guidelines page.

The problem there is the "1.5 metres for the greatest diamension"  :(

Think I'll have a phone round on Mon.  I've been looking at www.interparcel.com, and got a quote of £6.99 + VAT for a 15kg 170x30x30cm parcel, which seems too cheap!? ::)

Should not cost more than £120 to repair. My girlfriend did this to a car I hired for her once. Where I worked at the time there was a vehicle refinisher who came and worked in the car park so I got a quote of £90 but it was too far for her to travel s she went with a local garage who charge £110.

Ok bumper is 170 x 50 x 30cm which makes it much higher...however...170 x 45 x 30 is 8.81 plus vat think we can squeeze it in  :y
