Current 'crank sensor ' fitted 9th May 2007 - 117,500 miles. So yes it is 40,000 miles and 2 years old, will check No 20 fuel relay first then replace 'crank sensor'.

Bloody crank sensors eh? We should all keep spares - seems like 99% of all problems with Omegas start with the crank sensor

Yes from a Vauxhall dealer, who are ok for spares and yes away from the exhaust. Dead easy to change this time as the connector was insight, not at the back of the engine. Out of interest both of the GM ones I have bought were 'Made in France'.
Steve '1001' every time  :y
