Battery wizzing the engine over, all the dash lights are on but will not fire-up, checked lots of connectors still no go 
Any help.

I suppose you already had a go at the spark plugs and HT leads? Is the engine cranking properly?

What engine do you have? what year car? and have you had any work done to the car recentlly. We need a few more details from you to be able to be more helpful mate.

Sorry I did have the details on the site going back in time, anyway 1998 2.5 petrol Elite auto saloon, 158000 miles.
Checked for codes, apart from 12 & 31 the main problem is 73 - Mass Air Flow Sensor Voltage Low, what next - clean it, replace it, shake it, shout at it  :-/ :-/

Hey again Richard.

I  suggest that before you go about changing parts, you have a look at the fuses both under the bonnet as well as under the steering wheel. Check if you getting a spark when you pull out a plug, check if any plugs are wet. and yes, not to forget check if the engine is getting fuel.

Maybe worth saying at this point that this has happened 4 times since I replaced the radiator in May, the difference is in the past the car has started after being left for an hour. Plus since then the car has covered 2,500 mile and not missed a beat.
Help what have I done ?

Hi richard hence my question earlier,  have you had any work done recently to your car , although they are not related we do need as much info as poss to help you.Still we move forward now, and your post stating that it started after an hour suggestes to me that sp3.2 is on the correct tack here with regard to the crank sensor starting to break down. Start with getting this changed as soon as poss or it will fail compleatly just when you dont need it to. God luck and post up your results. Gary.

Update !!!!
Checked & cleaned MAF, also connections.
Removed 1 & 3 plugs, both dry, no fuel (or oil), disconnected  both feed and return fuel lines while turning over engine - no fuel. Replaced no 18 fuse, pump still no ticking, away to see if there is a relay.
Any thoughts, please.

My thoughts would whole heartedly be with the crank sensor...as said immbiliser would flash the eml...code 73 and/or 74 are common red herring codes when the crank sensor goes

If the crank sensor is bad it will stop fuel going to the cylinders to protect the cats from being contaminated with unburnt fuel SO crank sensor first stop.
