During the recent snow and slush a number of people have had problems with the selector switch.

Removing and cleaning the switch seems to have helped some people.

Where is the selector switch? And what shall i check?

There doesn't seem to be a guide at the moment but there are threads with the information here and here

The first one looks as though it just needs editing and adding to the maintenance guides. (any volunteers?)

I had it off y/day, and opened it up - it was in a very sorry state indeed.  All the contacts were corroded - one to the point where it had fell off during dismantling.

A new one is on order from vauxhall for £45

That sounds a bit too cheap mate. :-/ Have you ordered the correct part. Pricewise they`re £200 plus from VX :o

I'm not sure what they could have confused it with?

...I suppose i'll soon find out - I haven't bought it yet, they've ordered it in.
