Spent yesterday at Daz's farm locale for Cambelt, tensioners, water pump, coolant and 3.0 cams and inlet plate.
Came back home with all of those done, plus a heater that actually gets hot (after more than 10 mins of flush / backflush of the heater matrix) a clean throttle body, an idle speed that is now near the mark (Damn those Rapid/Quick/Fast -Fit monkeys
)and a myriad of replacement covers and pipes thrown in to replace my broken ones.
Daz, I can't thank you enough! Old Homer is pulling like a train at top end now - feels more like a 2.75 than a 2.5.
