had the misfiring due to a cracked scuttle letting in most of the rain of the past week.replaced the scuttle ,new 2/4/6 coil pack old one was cracked,new plugs all round oh hia to siphon 1/3/5 plug wells.o.k so far. :y

apparently a very common call out for recovery firms at Christmas when a car might be moved a few feet to let a family member move their car and then the same again a few days later .... all 'on choke'

The AA used that excuse with me once.. after he'd gone (having turned it over until it finally coughed into life) and it once again failed to start I checked properly .. king lead from the distributor was completely melted - that might have been the real problem, then.. ;D
