Got myself 6 cylinders............

Well for swmbo....she said she won't drive the Jeep.............. :( :(

Went to see it, had a chat and a look around, very hard to spot any faults, very clean even in unprepared state, main dealer px against an Insignia.  Went back to meet swmbo there and a test drive each, she came back with a great big smile on her face.... ;D ;D I nearly walked mind, I just wanted that little bit extra in the deal, he gave in as I walked towards the Jeep, got a lot of the asking price, down to a price I was happy to pay...... :y  As they said, they don't get many people walking in looking for an Omega, the boss apparently did not want it but it came with a number of cars from the dealer..... :D :D

So, on Saturday we pick up an 03 plate 2.6 CDX Saloon........we will share it at the weekends.... :D :D :D

Oh and I was surprised to see the computer reading 26.7 MPG average and has only been used running around the town, think I should have listened to Andy B before..... ::) ::) ::)

It drives lovely, so smooth and quiet and a lovely burble from the exhaust as swmbo took off in it... :y

I think 1.0 litre engine is too much enough for "relaxed" drive ;D

I did think about giving you a shout, we could have really shown we know about these cars, car was in Stockton, but I could not find your phone number and can't use OOF at work.... :(
