wind deflector question
« on: 02 March 2012, 11:19:30 »

Hi all. Does anybody know if anywhere makes wind deflectors for an estate which include the rear windows aswell. The only ones i can find are for the front windows only.
Many thanks.

Ive had them on every car ive had. I find them really handy as a smoker on the move. I also like the fact i can air my car by leaving the window down half an inch and nobody would know.

I've heard someone on about this before, and from recollection they are about but difficult to fit properly. I think someone got some from Poland.

or from Eternal(fronts only)

Also if interested a sun roof Wind Deflector.

I've got a new set of front ones sat in the garage, i've never fitted them because I was unhappy at the way they fix to the Omega

Aah, beaten to it. Octimex are probably the best on the aftermarket stuff.
I had a set of front and rear for my Carlton and the front windows are very similar to the omega in design and construction.
However I have been left with a legacy of a slightly dropped drivers door window, it has a 1/4 inch gap at the top when closed, this since I removed the deflectors. Don't know why, the passenger side is fine but that never got opened and closed as much as the drivers. It may be nothing to do with the deflectors but just something to bear in mind.

Hi mate

I have fitted a set of the Heko deflectors (fronts) to my 2000 2.5cd and they look and work fine.
Admittedly the fitting of them meant i had to use mastic/adhesive to fit them but when in place look ok and they do work.
Thats just my fivepenneth  :D
