Meteor/Space crap last night
« on: 04 March 2012, 19:40:27 »

Anyone else spot it?

Was sitting on the floor watching TV late evening about 10 ot 11 pm and playing with the hound and my eye was drawn to a very fast moving meteor type doofer in the sky.  Bright ball, long green/blue tail, solid trajectory and moving very fast approximately north to south.

Saw some info on this evenings news so know I wasn't just on the wrong side of a dram or three!!   ;D

Didn't actually see it, though heard about it via the news.

Probably a weather balloon heading for Area 51 ::)  ;D

Are you sure you weren't having a wee tipple at the time though ::) ;) ;D

I saw something around that time, although no tail. Was a very fast, bright "shooting star" that we put down to being some "space junk" burning off... Could it have been the same thing? :-\
