Oi! Get back to that Kitchen!

The sooner you finish the kitchen, the sooner Mrs DTM can decide which room you do next :P

no when the kitchen is done....she decides....time to move  ;D

Why thats highly likely anyway given the job situation.......

Still, good kitchens sell houses, apparantly!

So do bathrooms!

Done those with the main one finished 12 months ago....must be onto a winner!

Marie - its Friday night - where do you think all us male oofers are? Yes thats right we are in the loft boarding it out so the youngest daughter, partner and grandson can store some gear as they are moving back in with us. They can't afford to pay rent and save for a deposit so we are putting them up while they save up. £120k minimum for a reasonable 3 bed house is a hell of a commitment when you are starting out.

Thats one of the advantages of living up here in the frozen north. Prices are stabilising and may even drop a bit over the next few months nationwide. The stricter criteria for mortgages mean I want them to take a maximum 80% mortgage so they will have to save hard. It's the only way we can help them.
