hounslow / heathrow area mechanic required
« on: 07 March 2012, 14:14:43 »

Folks, looking for a regular honest guy to take my hi-mileage 2.6 LPG to from time-to-time.

On 142k now. Hope to hit 200k.

Any suggestions?

There are a few of us who do - but I have a feeling there is someone quite close to you. I can't recall who  :-[

Failing that, I'm around 70 miles away :y

Tunnie

Brentford is fine.

It's an as-and-when thing really - regular servicing plus occasional repairs.
Determined to take it to 200k, so need someone who is both local and also understands 2.6s

Best pm me your tel no, etc

Thanks

You've no worries there mate. Just give him a call and he'll be down with his toolkit. Hammer, screwdriver and gaffer tape. ;D

Not strictly true, he does know it is a left handed screwdriver, thus leaving his right hand available..... :D :D :D

He can't be worse than my previous guy - went to all the effort of stripping off the cam covers to seal them, then re-resealed with sealant, not a proper gasket!!!
