You get two hours parking, and No return within four hours, so it's my own fault, but I hate the fact I was there for three minutes, then parked back up and was there for 8 minutes and got a ticket, especially considering I was off out again as well. That's only half the story

i had the police come to the job i was on today to ask me to move my van becuase some knob complained becuase i was near a junction....not that near probably the same plonker that parks thier cars in front of the house i am working in so i cant get the van anywhere near it......the copper said i could park in front of thier drive as they did not have a drop kerb what could i do but follow the advice given

least he did not just book me and took a view on it all

I did that once, had a row along the lines of "it's legal, if your too tight to pay for a drop kerb that's your problem", and strangely my car had a fresh scratch down one side about a week later.
