Daz rides again
« on: 11 March 2012, 07:04:58 »

 :D :D ;)
As arranged I went up to see DKL yesterday and was well pleased to find that he has not lost any of the old Daz. Quite remarkable really but that is just how I, and probably many other oofers expected it to be. First comment from Daz was how quickly I had arrived after setting off  ;) ;D. Left him his 'tinnies' as usual cos after the 'labours' of the day he desrved them.
Only thing that spoiled the day was the ride home with the more than usual complement of idiotic wallies on the M1 that should not even be given the licence to push a pram!
Another thing is: Why in hell do the usually young with the baseball cap the wrong way round, heavily decalled (lying)  matchbox drivers with exhausts that would fit a jumbo jet think that because I am 'elderly' that they can invite me to race with them so they can have a laugh? Honestly, it becomes very boring after a few goes when they sniff my fumes from a large distance ahead! Perhaps I should really stop being tempted and stop my petrol disappearing so fast even though I still get a kick from it. Is because old habits die hard?  :D
Oh yeah, and while I am on one it was really very nice to meet his daughters who taugh me that not all teenagers are ill mannered and ill behaved. That is what parenting is about, perhaps you both need to take up teaching? At least you have got a real result......Be very proud of them :y

Indeed, both DLK's girls are polite, friendly, inclusive lovely girls. I assume that must come from Mrs Loo-knee's side of the family ;D
