Is there not a 'pull handle' thing in the boot lid itself, accessed from the rear passenger compartment, if the lock fails? Or is that just FL?
Otherwise you'll be scrambling about in the boot with the back seats down  ;D

I think when the boot lid is open the handle thing is on the left hand side near to where the lid meets the window, as you look at it from the back of the car. When you drop the back seats have a look then, to the right from the inside. Might make it a little easier!

I can just about reach the internal release handle from the back seat, I though all Omegas had this? Or was it facelift only  :-\

The handle inside is facelift only, I assume the keys are not there, so it means wriggling through the back seats. :(

I'm wondering was it FL only as there is no other means of opening, whereas PFL had a handle. having said that, if the handle failed then surely there would need to be an internal release? I can't remember  :-[

Just thinking too, the boot can't be locked if the car is open as central locking operates both, does it not? Guess it could be seized or faulty though ....

Prefacelift cars with a handle can have their boots locking with the central locking (key slot horizontal) or not locking wih the central locking (key slot vertical) depending on whether you want it to or not.  ;) ;) ;)
