Must have been in a bad way :(
« on: 18 March 2012, 08:26:48 »

Just had the old bill on the phone telling me my business partner has topped himself.

The lady who told me wouldn't say much other than to tell me a DS will be calling me later, all I know at the moment is that he did leave a note and chose to end it by putting a plastic bag over his head.

We were all in our local yesterday watching the rugby and he seemed absolutely fine.
I know that work has been a bit scarce just recently, but not so much that he couldn't cover the basic bills.

Guess I'll find out more when plod calls me back  :(

Sorry to hear that.

I didn't think they did anything like that over the phone. I was under the impression it was only 'in person' and if possible, by an officer trained in that sort of thing.

Really sorry to hear this. :(

I had an old school friend do this many years back. Appeared to have everything going for her but decided to end it. I think the worst thing is trying to imagine what state of mind she must have been in to go through with it, and wondering whether there's anything that could have been said to save her. :'(

I'm very sorry to hear about this sad loss.  :(

Sadly, some people that seem okay on the outside, hide the turmoil within.   :(

Awful news... sadly it seems that the ones who are going to go through with it very rarely shout about it first...

Should have been a bit clearer in my original post.

Got told at 7:20am this morning by the landlady of our local what had happened, plod rang after to ask if I was Mr M*** B****** and did I know a Mr G*** D*****
I then asked plod if they were ringing to tell me he had been found (which took the lady by surprise judging from the sound of her voice), and the call ended with her saying that a DS H****** would be contacting me shortly to discuss it further.

Local landlady opened her doors to us regulars and have been on the piss since 9:30 this morning, now trawling through the various pics & video footage I have of him to distribute later among us.

How much crap can come your way.

My other half is not well and bangs on about karma.

I have friends who have do deal with the scum of the earth, who for all intents and purposes seem to be benefiting from there far from legal life style.

Seems they have an agent to sell off there karma.

That's not good at all, can't really understand what sort of mind state people can be in to do that, especially when they're fine the day previous  :(

Sorry to hear this  :'( & I know it doesn't take a lot to push someone to take this action & it's the people that they leave behind will never know why if they left no note. Our son has mental health problems & we have had 15 major attempts at his own life from wrist cutting, jumping from bridges & around 8 overdoses 4 of them have had him in ICU for several days at a time on a ventilator.
