traction control not working
« on: 21 March 2012, 12:48:55 »

hi my car has been converted from 2.6 auto to 3.2 manual . 2001 mv6 . when i got the car rob told me  the tc light bulb had been taken out as it stays on i now know that the tc is not working could this be down to the conversion and the car needs to go on a tech 2 to find the fault . no problems with the abs or speedo so hopefuly that rules out the abs ecu ? thanks in advance

possible, as the ABS ECU does need to know the engine size and gearbox type.

you need to get it on a GOOD code reader, pref tech2 in this case as reconfig likely needed, to see what its complaining about.
