Auto Gearbox
« on: 21 March 2012, 14:22:52 »

Hi.
Wondering if I might need the ECU updating on my autobox.

It's a 2003 2.6 and sometimes holds in 1st gear for a long time (changes at 30mph) this is even when starting off slow i.e round town in slow moving traffic.

Gear changes are what I would call relatively smooth, although noticeable and the can be a bit of jerking but mostly when accelerating hard.

Last one - kick down also appears to drop 2 gears and then change up one almost straight away.

Am I just worrying too much ?

If it does need attention, any idea who, where and how much ?
Liverpool area.

Thanks
